So, is there anyway to "repair" leg wrinkle short of replacing the decals? Surely there must be some method that will help the situation.

I have heated with a low heat -heat gun and tried to smooth it out.
They never are perfect but better and the plastic leg protectors cover up nicely.

Thats what I was thinking....I have one of those cheap Harbor Freight guns at home. Should I chance it, or should I bring the Milwaukee home from work?

My gun has two settings....very hot and Hot as Hell  Evil
I just used the very hot to warm up the wrinkled section until it was pliable and lifted it off of the cab slowly till I got to the good art work.
Once lifted and warm (not melting) I used a plastic puddy knife (Smooth edge not sharp) to work it back without bubbles.  Should still be sticky enough to work with.. then let cool and cover with the plastic protectors.  This process did not work with RS (art work wrinkles had holes in it) but worked well with FT and IJ (new art wrinkled)

I say  if it bugs you give it a shot ...cant get worse unless you cook it too long.

If any of you get a chance, please post a picture.  I don't ever think I've seen a pin with a "leg wrinkle."  Some of these pinball terms definitely throw me for a loop!  Tongue

Stavs,

If you go this route let the decal set a day before you put the legs back on.  When you do bolt the legs back on, don't tighten the legs at first.  Leave the legs so the have some wiggle room.  When the game is back up on all 4, then finish tightening the legs.  This should have the cabinet resting on top of the leg bolts instead of sliding down on top of the bolts wrinkling the legs.
